Band Rental Night
THROUGH READING, WRITING, AND CREATING MUSIC, STUDENTS:

Calibre General Music Classes
Music is a powerful and primary form of expression for the human spirit in every culture; the heart, soul, and voice of the people. Through Music, people are able to integrate other academic disciplines, to develop reading and language skills, to gain greater mathematical understanding and to experience the characteristics of other cultures. Music educates the whole child.
Calibre Academy Winter Concert
Calibre students will be a part of organizing or performing in the Winter Concert/Spring Concert. This is a special evening for the all family. The students taking music in the 1st semester will participate in the Winter concert in December. Likewise, the students taking music in the second semester will participate in the Spring Concert in May.
Calibre Academy Variety Show
The Calibre Academy Variety Show will be held in February 2022. Any student at Calibre Academy may audition, but be prepared. Not every act that auditions will be chosen for the show. All acts MUST be age appropriate. Information will be sent home as to when video auditions will be due.
Calibre Academy Band
The Calibre Band gives students the opportunity to learn music theory, how to play their instrument, and how to work together as a team. Beginning through advanced instruction is offered to fourth through eighth grade students on brass, woodwind, and percussion instruments. The Calibre Band will be featured at the Winter Concert/Spring Concert and have other performances throughout the year. Calibre Academy Choir
The Calibre Choir allows students to learn vocal techniques, music theory, and performance skills. Choir is offered to all fourth through eighth graders. For more information, you may contact Ms. Fredrickson at ronni.fredrickson@calibreacademy.com.
