Tour and Visitor Policy
Support Their Next Big Step
Whether your student is planning for college, exploring career options, or preparing for graduation, ThrivePoint provides resources to help families guide and support their next big step. From financial aid to career pathways, we make it easy to stay informed and involved.
Purpose: This policy outlines the guidelines for visitors on Calibre Academy’s campus, ensuring safety and compliance with A.R.S § 15-184. In line with state and federal laws, visitors without an IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card must not be left alone with students unless they are the student’s parent or legal guardian.
Procedure: All visitors are required to follow these steps:
Sign in at the front office.
Show a photo ID.
Wear a visitor’s pass while on campus.
Stay in approved areas as directed by school administration.
Sign out at the front office before leaving.
Parents of Enrolled Students:
Parents are welcome to visit or observe their child’s classroom, with the following guidelines:
Approval: School administration will review and approve visits, ensuring they do not disrupt the learning environment or affect student and staff safety.
Respect for Learning Environment: Visitors should observe quietly and avoid interacting with students or staff during class. Assistance to students during visits is not allowed. All standard visitor procedures, including signing in and presenting ID, apply.
Parents of Prospective Students:
Parents interested in enrolling their children at Calibre are encouraged to visit and observe classrooms under the same guidelines as current parents. Prospective parents will also be accompanied by a staff member during the visit.
Guest Presenters:
School administration may invite guest speakers or instructors to enhance student learning. Presentations should remain on topic and avoid controversial or unrelated material.
Other Visitors:
Individuals seeking to visit for educational or professional purposes must have approval from the school administration and will be accompanied during their visit.
Scheduling:
Approved visits will be scheduled at a convenient time for both the school and visitors. The duration of visits may be limited based on the school’s discretion.
Health and Safety:
Visits will be postponed or canceled if they pose a health or safety risk to students or staff.
Visitor Conduct:
To maintain a respectful and distraction-free environment, visitors should dress appropriately, use respectful language, and interact professionally with staff and students. Disruptive behavior will not be tolerated, and individuals may be asked to leave. Repeated disruptions may result in a ban from campus visits as per A.R.S. §13-2911. Photos or recordings are only permitted with prior written approval from the School Principal.
