Age & Grade Requirements

Calibre Academy serves students in Pre-K through 8th grade. Pre-K students must be 4 years old and fully potty trained to enroll. Kindergarten students must be 5 years old on or before September 1 of the school year. Students entering grades 1–8 will be placed based on age, academic records, and prior school enrollment when applicable.

Residency Requirements

Students must reside in Arizona to enroll in Calibre Academy. Families may be asked to provide acceptable proof of residency as part of the enrollment process.

Immunization Requirements

Arizona law requires students attending school to provide documentation of required immunizations or an approved exemption. Immunization records may be submitted during the enrollment process. Families with questions regarding immunization requirements or exemptions should contact the school office for additional information.

Previous School Information

Students transferring from public, private, charter, homeschool, or other educational settings are welcome to apply. Academic records, report cards, transcripts, or other school documentation may be requested to help determine appropriate grade-level placement and ensure a smooth transition.

Student's Birth Certificate

A copy of the student's birth certificate is required to verify age eligibility and grade placement. To avoid delays in processing your enrollment application, please submit a copy of the birth certificate along with your enrollment documents. Age Requirements: Pre-K: Students must be 4 years old and fully potty trained to enroll. Students may enroll anytime on or after their 4th birthday, as space allows. Kindergarten: Students must be 5 years old on or before September 1 of the school year. Grades 1–8: Students will be placed based on age, prior academic records, and grade-level eligibility.

Families must provide at least one acceptable form of Arizona proof of residency as part of the enrollment process. Prior Academic Records

Students transferring from another public, private, charter, or homeschool program may be asked to provide academic records to support grade-level placement. Who is eligible to enroll at Calibre Academy?

Calibre Academy serves students in grades K–8 through both in-person and online learning options. Pre-K enrollment is also available for students who are 4 years old and fully potty trained, as space allows.

Can my student enroll during the school year?

Yes. Students may enroll or transfer during the school year as space allows. Our enrollment team will help determine appropriate grade-level placement and guide you through the process.

What documents are required for enrollment?

Is Calibre Academy tuition-free?

What immunizations are required to enroll in Arizona?

Where can I get immunizations for my student?

Immunizations can be obtained from doctor's offices, clinics or hospitals. Pediatricians and family doctors or their nurses or medical assistants can give your student the shots they need to meet the requirements for school enrollment. In addition, some large chain pharmacies offer immunizations for older children and adults.

What if I need assistance paying for vaccines?

Low-cost and no-cost vaccine programs may be available through local health departments and community health clinics. Families are encouraged to contact their healthcare provider or county health services for support options.

Are immunization exemptions allowed?

A student may be exempt from immunizations for medical reasons, religious beliefs or personal reasons. All exemptions require a signature and date. Letters must be submitted each year. Please see the Arizona Department of Health and Human Services website for details around exemptions.

What if my student has changed schools frequently?

Students who have attended multiple schools are still eligible to enroll. Any available academic records will help our team place the student in the appropriate grade level.
