At Caliber Academy, learning doesn't end in the classroom. Our school sports and clubs give students opportunities to explore interests, build confidence, develop teamwork skills, and stay engaged in a safe, structured environment. Offerings are subject to change

Extended Care Program

Safe, structured support for students before and after school

The Extended Care Program provides a supervised environment for students to engage in homework time, structured activities, and recreational play. Designed to support working families, the program offers both morning and afternoon care options in a safe, school-based setting.

  • A non-refundable $50 registration fee is required, and a once-a-year application must be submitted for enrollment.

Lil Colts Sports Program (Pre-K – 4th Grade)

Introduction to sports through skill-building, teamwork, and intramural play

The Lil Colts Sports Program is designed for younger students in Pre-K through 4th grade. Calibre Academy was the first charter school in Surprise to offer an intramural sports program at this level, helping students build foundational athletic skills in a fun, supportive environment.

Students participate in skill-based activities and games with peers from the same school, focusing on learning the basics of each sport and developing confidence through play.

Mustang Sports Program (5th – 8th Grade)

Year-round competitive and developmental athletics for middle school students

The Mustang Sports Program is a season-based athletics program for students in grades 5 through 8. It provides opportunities for students to participate in organized team sports that emphasize skill development, teamwork, and school pride.

Arts & Creative Programs

Encouraging imagination, expression, and performance-based learning

Arts and creative programs provide students with opportunities to express themselves through music, visual arts, performance, and design.

These programs help students build confidence while developing creative and artistic skills.

Academic & Enrichment Clubs
