Nijera Wildman

Dear Parents,
Welcome to Calibre Academy! I hope everyone had a happy and safe summer! My name is Mrs. Nijera Wildman, and I’m going to be your child’s Spanish teacher this year. I am very excited to be able to teach your child and get to know them. For those who are new to this school, I have been part of the Calibre Academy family since 2014. During my time here, I have worn many hats and been given the opportunity to work with different grades. In 2016, I am proud to say that I graduated from the University of Phoenix with my bachelor’s degree and moved on to Grand Canyon University in 2017 to pursue my master’s degree.

I am married to my loving husband Dante’, and I have three beautiful children, Cam’ron, Taia, and Sean. I was born in New York City, and I am from the Bronx. I have lived in Arizona for some time, and I love it! I love drawing cartoons, playing video games, sports and reading mystery books. My passion is to work with children and help them be the best they can be.

My native language is Spanish, and my third language is American Sign Language. Growing up, I was lucky enough to spend my time in Guayama, Puerto Rico. Although learning a second language is not easy, it will be fun, and it will be an exciting experience at the same time. It will take some time, but the end result is worth the hard work. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me at nijera.wildman@learningmatters.org or (623) 556-2179

Thank you,
Nijera S. Wildman
